Read this and see how cold water may actually affect your health. Is it true?

Test for IQ... NOT!

Test for IQ:
Below are four (4) questions and a bonus question. You have to answer them instantly. You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately .. OK?

Let's find out just how clever you really are....

Ready? GO!!!

First Question:

You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer:
If you answered that you are first, then you are
absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person, you take his place, so you are second!
Try not to get it wrong the next time.
Now answer the second question,
but don't take as much time as you took for the first one, OK ?
Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are...?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?

You're not very good at this, are you?

Third Question:
Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only.
Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 ... Now add 30.
Add another 1000. Now add 20 .. Now add another 1000
Now add 10. What is the total?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Did you get 5000?
The correct answer is actually 4100.
If you don't believe it, check it with a calculator!
Today is definitely not your day, is it?
Maybe you'll get the last question right....
........Maybe.
Fourth Question:
Mary's father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono. What is the ! name of the fifth daughter?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Did you Answer Nunu?
NO! Of course it isn't.
Her name is Mary. Read the question again!

Okay, now the bonus round:
I may have sent this one before. I'm never sure.

A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By
imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully
expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is
done.

Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of
sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer:
He just has to open his mouth and ask...
It's really very simple! Are you thinking too hard?
IT IS JUST A PRANK I PULL ON YOU. DO NOT BE OFFENDED. JUST FOR LAUGHS.
A SMILE A DAY KEEPS YOUR WORRIES AWAY!
Something for all to take note!
Hi dearest 5.7s!
I have sent an email to everyone in Lead.com. Please access Lead.com emails and check out the timetable I have come up with to aid u in your revision and studies.
The ball is in your court now, I have done my best to help you plan your time. So it is up to you whether you want to do something to help yourself and improve in your studies...
At the same time, take it as an opportunity to sit down with your parents, and be amazed at how wise your parents are, with regards to planning your time to study.
They are the best people to turn to for advice. They have been students before, and they know how to set priorities.
So please take this chance and discuss with them.
IMPORTANT:
The supplementary classes are for pupils who have scored 60 and below for Maths SA 1 papers, not your combined results. You should be given a consent form for the event. Please get it signed and attend the classes accordingly.
You may be really glad to know that the session on 23 June 2009, Tuesday, has been cancelled.
How to tie your shoe laces...
Some of us are growing up and have already moved away from school shoes with strap-on straps to shoes with shoe laces.
So I would like pupils from my class to learn a trick or two. I would like to take care of my pupils so that they learn something and not go to secondary school without knowing these simple things in life.
Practice hard! Have fun and learn something new!
Continuation...
Final part to tying shoe laces...
Have fun dear children!!!
Happy Holidays!
Dear little darlings of 5.7...
Yes, June holiday is here. Do enjoy your holidays, but let us not forget to learn and to revise our work. I really hope everyone will make full use of the time to catch up on what you are weak in, and make sure that you learn from your parents, tutors and even siblings as they guide and teach you during the holidays.
I really urge everyone to have a positive attitude towards learning.
Parents can scold and punish you.
Siblings can yell and even scream at you.
I can force you and give you all a lot of work.
Yet, none of these may work, until something in you tells you that you want to make a difference...
ARE YOU DIFFERENT?
DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FROM NOW ON?
Then start being different, and start to be positive and active in learning. Your future is indeed in your hands, not your parents nor mine.
Play hard, but study harder. Especially for those who have not been performing to your own expectations.
Boys, please stop wasting time on AQ or play.com...
