Hi dearest 5.7s...
Just look at the countdown timer above this post and you are fully aware that the days are numbered before SA2. I am not worried about you all being stressed, but rather, for some of you, I am worried that you are not stressed or anxious at all.
All of us have to have some stress sometimes in order for us to see the urgency and importance to put in more effort and to make that extra effort to study and work hard.
So here it is. With the final week remaining, what is driving some of you to work hard?
The rewards or promise of a holiday by your parents?
The fear of punishments by parents?
Fear of having to repeat P5 or to go into Foundation stream?
Or would it be the satisfaction of seeing improvements in every of your subject? Or to be doing far better than what you have been doing in SA 1?
Or some of you could it be that you are studying simply because you enjoy learning?
Well, I do hope that one day, all of you here could simply study because you enjoy learning...
You see, learning is a life-long process that all of us human beings do, be it in a classroom or not. We are learning new things everyday. We could learn how to play a new game, learn how to type emails faster, learn how to type a proper email, learn how to play a sports better and so many more examples.
Learning takes place in any place and in any time... Who says learning cannot take place outside a classroom? Who says that without a teacher, a student cannot learn?
I would like to remind all of you. It is because we have students, that's why we have teachers... Without active learners, we won't need teachers...
I am here, because your parents choose for you to learn, when you were too young to make that important choice yourself...
Right now, you are grown up, capable of making important decisions, you too must make that choice to choose to learn as well...
Make that choice for yourself. Learning is given strength from your attitude...
Once you have the right attitude to learn, I would like to tell you this:
The world is for you to take.
